I think Jake is really starting to discover his voice. Now when he wakes from a nap, he let’s the entire house know he’s awake and ready for immediate attention!!! It’s hard to describe the noises that come from that little demon. Have you ever seen the barn scene in The Exorcism of Emily Rose? He sounds like he’s speaking a foreign language mixed with some grunting and spitting. It’s terrifying if you don’t know what you’re listening to.
It’s exciting though, because I know his first word is coming soon! I can’t wait! I know what I want that word to be, but any word will do. I’ve actually been trying to teach him “MA-MA”, because I know that would make her so happy. Anywho….
I know you have to remember this question. What was your baby’s first word? If you’re not there yet, what do you hope it to be? I just hope Jake’s isn’t “ALLOWANCE”!

love that stage!!! my older guy said “peeni” first yes in lieu of penis thanks to my mom who changed his diaper and kept asking him “whats this is this your penis? where is your penis?” Hello he is a guy he knew right where that was the minute it grew LOL

That's hilarious! I truly wonder how many habits we fellas develop from such a young age? Ie: Itching our crotch, boob fascination, etc, etc…
